Daniel Oldani, in this work, pays homage to Ligabue. On the right side of the canvas we see the reproduction of the animals made with Ligabue's iconic style: two tigers among the bamboo canes. We can see the back of one, while the other roars towards us. On the left side of the canvas we notice the sad face of Ligabue, the iconic 1900 painter known for his tragic life. We also read a reverse writing, made by Oldani, which reads: «Loneliness is a beautiful thing if you are the one looking for it, but if you don't look for it it can drive you mad». This phrase reflects the experience of Ligabue, an artist marginalized due to his pathological and psychiatric tendencies.
