Description by the gallery owner

“Save the Planet” is a work that offers a profound reflection on our world and the universe. The astronaut, painted by Oldani, represents the figure of someone seeking escape from a declining world, marked by destruction and corruption. The visor of his helmet, colored blood-red, becomes a powerful symbol of pain and suffering, as if the astronaut were fleeing a broken and hopeless world. However, the work also features a figure of hope: a little girl playing on a swing, a symbol of purity and hope for the future, despite the bleak context.
In this scenario, the character of Mars Attack embodies the resistance against humanity, which is seen as a destructive force, capable of compromising the balance of any environment.
The title “Save the Planet” therefore contains a double interpretation: on the one hand, it is an urgent call to save the Earth from the threats that are destroying it – climate change, conflict, pollution – and, on the other, a cry of alarm to protect new worlds from invasion by humanity, like Mars, which does not want to suffer the same fate.

"DAMA" DANIELE OLDANI X MARCO TAMBURRO

Scopri l'artista

Marco Tamburro and Daniele Oldani, united by a need to express themselves through art, despite their very different stylistic approaches, have successfully combined two opposing pictorial styles with harmony and fluidity. On the one hand, Tamburro's intense and rapid brushstrokes, which explore the anxieties and disenchantment of human beings living in the metropolis; on the other, Oldani's pop imagery, rich in social irony. The fusion of Rome and Milan has given rise to artworks that fully reflect the vision of the two artists. Themes related to society, religion, and war are addressed by the two with clarity and irony. Pictorial elements that characterize such different visions have managed to form a dynamic and coherent connection.
