Valeria Vaccaro

The sculptor from Turin, born in 1988, has an extraordinary technical ability. Valeria Vaccaro is an artist who magically transforms marble into wood. The artist attended the Art School and studied sculpture at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin. Since 2005 he has regularly exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Italy, France, Germany, England and Montenegro. Between 2013 and 2015 he participated in the European traveling biennial JCE Jeune Création Européenne. In 2015 he exhibited at Exhibit in Turin and at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Castello di Rivara. In 2017, on the occasion of the CBM Art Prize, he won a special mention from the city of Turin. In the same year she was among the winners of the ArTeam Cup 2017. In 2021 she was selected to exhibit some of her sculptures as part of BAG Bocconi Art Gallery in Milan. In 2022 she is the winner of the VAF Foundation Second Prize IX Edition. Currently, he lives and works in Turin.
