Daniele Accossato reinterprets the Nike of Samothrace. The statue in its original guise was created to commemorate the naval victory of the Rhodian fleets against the Seleucids. It is currently on display at the Louvre Museum.

The young sculptor wants us to question the problems inherent in the art sector. In particular, he highlights the age-old debate surrounding the commodification of our cultural heritage. The entire container apparently recreates the look of Styrofoam. In reality, the work is made of plaster.
