"Wild Boys" is a used Campbell's Cheese Soup can. The representation of a used soup can is transformed into a work of art. Gumm depicts Walt Disney's most beloved couple: Minnie and Mickey Mouse, subjects already prominent in Warhol's works. The Venetian artist owes much to the artistic legacy left by the father of the "Cambell's Soup Can." The object, however, is not an imitation of a ready-to-eat product. The can has already been consumed and crushed. Gumm opens a reflection on the concept of waste. An object discarded by society rises in rank and becomes a work of art.
