The work "Koons Tube" inaugurates a symbolic paroxysm that had already been conceived decades earlier by Piero Manzoni with his work "Artist's Shit." In the work, the French artist reproduces a tube of tempera paint as if it were a small, magical artist's relic. A new perspective is consolidated in the creative exploration of the work. This artistic tradition remains open to duplication, therefore, the artist does not wish to escape the fruit of plagiarism. Why does he idealize a tube of oil paint? We can assume that to capture the creative impact of a renowned artist like Jeff Koons, he personified his working tool as a sculpture with a vitality of its own.
