This summer, the stunning Alpemare beach club, the Bocelli family's celebrated location and winner of the "Best Beach Resort in Italy 2024" award, hosted a unique art installation: "Candy's Holidays." The original exhibition was conceived by the Daniele Comelli Art Gallery and created by artist Jonathan Griffith, under the supervision of renowned architect Alberto Bartalini. The installation was sponsored by the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi.
The giant candy and lollipop sculptures added a touch of cheer and color to the luxurious atmosphere of the beach club.
Like Claes Oldenburg, Griffith ironically transformed foods and everyday objects into works of art, making the installation a pop triumph.
